Second Life?

Have you ever heard of something called as second life? There is... it is the time you spend in front of the so called gadget of today- "the computer"
People have started leading a second life. People have started selecting their life partners, their day-to-activities and what they eat - their daily groceries are delivered to their doorstep with one click.
Today's kids are more aware than what we were in our days. My 3 1/2 yr old whenever he seems to be getting bored and not being able to entertain himself says aloud"Mom can you please give my pibuskids" What he means is he wants me to open a browser for him and type the address( since his little fingers cannot still type the word pbskids:)

The thrill that is evident on his face when the page loads..."Oh yeah... I love it mommy"
He knows all the navigation and the controls to play the games on the page. Yeah a pre-schooler he is and no I never taught him how to navigate onto a page from a hyperlink.
He is not the only one. In a common gathering when we were talking, I came to know that this was the case with so many other kids...
What do you call this phenomenon? I am sure medical science would have had a 10-letter-long sounding name for it.
It is just that they are so used to seeing PC or a laptop that even before they know how to read and write properly they know how to use the PC. It is because it has become a second life for them!

Have you ever faced this haziness in your thoughts... a random streak of thoughts being disturbed by a lightning and a volley of another thought. ...

It is troublesome- you don't know where to start from....you start writing one..oops you realise you have drifted on to something else.....Backspace, backspace, backspace.....this is not what I wanted to write.

This is what had happenned to me a few minutes back.
Well, to explain it to someone who has not faced it is difficult. Many would say that my thoughts are not organised , so I am feeling this. But ask a few writers(yes, I say writers or anyone who even jots down a few words to express his thoughts). This has happenned to one and all at a certain time or the other.
Am I losing this capability I had in me - writing beautifully and in a well-organised manner or is it just that there has been too much clutter in my grey cells. The clutter needs to be organised and yes... words would flow out in a spontaneous manner.
Yes, arbitrary to the reader. But believe me it does happen...to you , to me and all out there who claim to WRITE:)

Had saved this as a draft since July 19th

To be or not to be...
is the question.
Are you leaving your job? Serious abt it? All her friends asked her. Well you have to decide what you want to be......

A mother? A wife? A careerist? What should I be. It is immensely difficult to play the parts in a balanced way.
A very common dilemma- to be for the family or to be for self. You get what you want. You choose family- you get it. You choose self-you get a career, you get financial independence but at what cost- the cost of the smile of your little one, the pull of your pants by your little one when you are busy preparing a meal only to turn and see those lively twinkling eyes calling out "Mama..I wan help you".
